Pivotal Woman - Solo Show
September 2008
A stone and bronze solo show titled "Pivotal Woman" was held at the Rockcliffe Park Recreation Centre on September 12, 13 and 14, 2008.
The show was also in support of breast cancer patients at the Ottawa Hospital. A sum of $6739.13 was raised for the breast cancer clinic, through the sale of the sculptures and 'Black Madonna' lapel pins.
The show was very well attended with approximately 300 people on opening night. The incredible food was prepared by Arup Jana, owner of Allium restaurant. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the show a success. |
